Founded in 1972, the guild is committed to:

• promoting and maintaining excellence in the crafts of weaving, spinning and many other fibre arts
• providing learning opportunities that enhance and develop members’ knowledge of and skill levels in these crafts
• fostering outreach in the community to promote an awareness of these crafts among the public

Our studio and meeting room is in the Salt Spring Island Multi-space (SIMS) Classroom C in downtown Ganges, where we have a number of looms, spinning wheels and other equipment available to members, as well as an extensive library.

Periodically, we offer fibre arts workshops and presentations for both guild members and the public.  Visit our EVENTS page to learn about upcoming classes, public displays and guild sales.
