Never done any weft faced weaving or Krokbragd? Not to worry. The first Thursday (that is the 19th!) will be an overall introduction to this type of weaving. There will be woven patterns to view, books on the subject, a discussion on how the structure works and two looms to try out on. Nicole and Mary have been busy!

After the initial introduction, you can sign up to do one, two or more mug rugs on the looms. We are using the Woolhouses. When you finally see how the pattern works with the three picks, you should allow about 2 hours to weave a mug rug. We are using the odds and ends from our wool stash.
