For most of history, the yarn for all cloth was spindle spun. Here’s a chance to discover the magic of turning sheep’s wool into yarn with that one simple tool, the drop spindle.

Volunteers from the Salt Spring Weavers and Spinners Guild will show you how.

No experience necessary.

All equipment and materials provided.

2 hour lesson at SIMS
